DS N°7 goes on sale in Turkey from 3,700,000 TL

DS Automobiles has put the new DS N°7 on sale in Turkey, replacing the DS 7 in the brand's SUV range. The model reaches dealerships from October and is offered in two trim levels, PALLAS and ÉTOILE, both with a hybrid powertrain producing a combined system output of 145 horsepower. The starting price is 3,700,000 TL. The company has not published separate prices for each version, and because these are list prices they may change.

The DS 7 arrived in Turkey in 2018 as the brand's first original model and has sold more than 7,800 units since. DS Automobiles Brand Director Selim Eskinazi said the DS 7 played an important role in introducing customers to the brand. He said the new model is intended to widen that existing customer base.

DS N°7 hybrid powertrain and fuel economy

The hybrid system pairs a 21 kW electric motor with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. DS says the car can run on electricity for up to 50 percent of driving time in city use. Combined fuel consumption is rated at 5.4 litres per 100 km, with CO2 emissions of 122 grams per kilometre.

Dimensions, boot and interior

The DS N°7 measures 4.66 metres long, 1.90 metres wide and 1.63 metres high. The rear doors have been lengthened and the glass areas enlarged, giving rear passengers up to 25 millimetres more headroom. Boot capacity is 560 litres, rising to 1,570 litres with the rear seats folded. The drag coefficient is 0.26 Cx.

Inside, there is a 10.25-inch digital instrument display and a 16-inch central multimedia screen. The X-shaped steering wheel, Clous de Paris detailing and pearl stitching are carried over. For the first time on a DS model in Turkey, natural wood veneer options are offered.

Trim levels and equipment

Both versions come with 19-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic glass roof, a power tailgate and wireless phone charging. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rear camera, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and automatic emergency braking are also included. PALLAS uses fabric upholstery, while ÉTOILE gets Nappa leather.

An optional Absolute Comfort Package for ÉTOILE adds heated, ventilated and massaging front seats. The optional 3D sound system has 14 speakers and 690 watts of output. Third-generation adaptive LED headlights provide illumination of up to 520 metres in suitable conditions.
